Attorney Trevor C. Leverson

Trevor C. Leverson

Trevor has devoted much of his career to advising health care systems in litigation, regulatory and compliance matters, internal compliance, and government investigation.  He has substantial experience helping providers navigate investigations coordinated through numerous federal and state enforcement agencies, including Main Justice, United States Attorney Offices, the Office of Inspector General, the Federal Bureau of Investigations, and State counterparts.  He has successfully defended physicians and practices from substantial claims of overpayments, fraud and abuse, and professional misconduct.

He has served as general outside counsel and compliance counsel for a diverse range of health care providers and is well-versed with the rules and requirements necessary for billing and receiving payment from Medicare, Medicaid, and private payors.  He works with health care providers to ensure that current and prospective operations, billing practices, and documentation of services comply with state and federal requirements to receive and retain payment. Further, he has significant experience representing providers seeking payment for their services from managed care, government, and private pay sources.

Despite his experience representing health care providers, Trevor is a generalist at heart.  He enjoys and routinely works with clients in need of advice and representation with respect to business and real estate transactions, business operations, and contract and tort litigation.
