Ryan has been in practice for over 20 years, having worked in both Wisconsin and Illinois while focusing on criminal defense, personal injury, bankruptcy, traffic, and temporary restraining orders due to domestic abuse or harassment.
Ryan has won acquittals at trial for clients facing a wide range of criminal charges, including Reckless Homicide, Delivery of Cocaine, Reckless Endangerment, Battery to a Police Officer, Domestic Battery, and OWI, and is a former adjunct instructor at Bryant & Stratton College in their Criminal Justice program.
Ryan has also obtained millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements on behalf of individuals and families injured or killed by the negligent acts of others and has successfully assisted many hundreds of individuals and families get back on their feet financially through bankruptcy.
Ryan serves as an elected member of the Waukesha County Bar’s Board of Directors and has been recognized by Wisconsin Super Lawyers, the Shepherd Express’ “Best of Milwaukee” poll, and Milwaukee Magazine’s “Best Lawyers List.”
Ryan was born and raised in Milwaukee and attended Marquette Law School, where his grandfather, Kenneth K. Luce, had taught as a law professor for over 30 years.
Ryan resides with his wife and two daughters in Whitefish Bay.
